Introduction to Educational Technology Concept, historical evolution, and current trends (Metaverse, Gamification, AR/VR). Digital Educational Technologies Digital tools, Action Plan for Digital Education (2021-2027), applications, and best practices. Artificial Intelligence in Education Tutoring systems, chatbots, generative AI, predictive analytics, ethics and social justice. Cybersecurity and Data Protection Concepts, threats, legislation (LGPD/GDPR), and best practices. Research and Innovation with ICT Digital methods, data analysis, and creation of interactive resources .

Understand the theoretical and epistemological foundations of Educational Technology and its approaches. Integrate concepts of educational technologies in a critical, innovative and practical way. Adapt to contexts and technological changes with creativity and effectiveness. Reflect on the potential of digital technologies for innovation, personalisation and inclusion. Use digital tools to create interactive teaching resources.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
This course consists of face-to-face classes of a theoretical and practical nature, adopting active methods: discussion, challenges, projects, analysis of issues, and adopting the Problem-based learning and Flipped Classroom methodologies. Classes will seek to encourage student involvement and active participation, both individually and in cooperative and collaborative group work. The teaching methods aim to develop the knowledge referred to in the content and to achieve the objectives indicated. Assessment integrates products, processes, and self-assessment.
