The Curricular Unit Family and Community Education has particular relevance within the scope of this Degree, since it trains professionals who will work in the community area, in which families and education have a fundamental role. It is, therefore, necessary that they acquire and deepen knowledge in relation to the importance of family and school in the construction of citizenship, taking into account globalization and accelerated social changes, for which the concepts, theories and intervention techniques in the community, acting as support networks, are essential.

The evaluation is continuous, with the following evaluation moments: -Group work, presented on the Moodle platform and orally (30%). - Portfolio (critical reflection on the content covered in each class) (60%). - Class participation (10%). The evaluation parameters of the works are: presentation (3); content (13); synthesis (4).
