Syllabus
A. Contextualisation of the subject matter of the course unit in today's society and in social education B. The project and its multiple meanings 1. The project as a concept; 2. The project as a methodology; 3. The project as a product. C. The implementation of a quality project 1. Project design and diagnostic and planning processes; 2. Project implementation and the development of good practices; 3. Project monitoring and evaluation processes; 4. People and teams as key players in project development; 5. Diagnostic, planning, and evaluation tools, and project sustainability. D. Preparing a UNESCO Club application, considering: 1. The rules established by the UNESCO National Commission; 2. The purposes of an innovative project intervention; 3. The stages necessary for implementing a quality project (rationale, planning, development, and monitoring and evaluation mechanism).

Objectives
By the end of the unit, students should be able to: 1. Situate their role as social educators in project design and development. 2. Apply acquired knowledge to create a concrete project/application. 3. Reflect on the project-building process, mobilized skills, challenges, and outcomes.

Teaching methodologies
Teaching methodologies
The development of project work is both a methodology and a product Strategies include reflection, debate, and group/individual investigative work. Encourages practical project proposals, linking theory to real socio-educational contexts. Effectiveness is measured through student evaluation, strengths/weaknesses analysis, and improvement suggestions.
