      • Determination of the (T) parameters.
      • Nominal capacity.
      • (T) under load: Voltage regulation, efficiency.

  • Objectives


    This unit introduces some necessary analysis tools and then analyzes, studies and designs electromagnetic transformers and direct current rotary machines.

    The aim is to provide students with analysis capabilities and sizing tools for electrical machines (ME), developing their ability to understand the principles of operation inherent in each machine, as well as their applicability in practical problems.

    At the same time, it is intended that students are able to broaden their critical thinking in the analysis of results, promoting experimental evidence of concepts taught through laboratory tests and simulation work, using models developed by students.

    To support the teaching-learning process, slide projections, electrical engineering simulation software and demonstration video projections are used.
