Consumer Law is a course designed to provide students with a systematic understanding of the legal framework governing relationships between consumers and professionals, both at the national and European levels. The course examines the main legislative instruments on consumer protection, with particular emphasis on standard contract terms, consumer contracts, unfair commercial practices, product liability, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. Combining theory with practical analysis, the course aims to equip students with the skills to identify, interpret, and apply consumer protection rules across different contractual and market contexts.
