In the discipline of the Roman Law and Peninsular Law, dealing with Roman Law and the historical-legal. Through its study, it aims, in addition to acycle after the Romanization of the Iberian Peninsula formative summit, to show the decisive Romanist foundations of prevailing Portuguese law, especially within the scope of private law. At the same time, the Romanist foundations of a common European law will be weighed down.

1 - Roman Law. Fundamental Notions. 2 - Periodization of Roman Law. 3 - Sources of Ius Civile. 4 - Ius Honorarium 5 - The Roman jurisprudence and its methodical scheme. 6 - The timeliness of Roman law in the privatist domain. 7 - Allusions to the Romanist elaboration of family law, inheritance law, rights in rem and obligations law. 8 - Roman roots of Portuguese law and European law. 9 - The Peninsular Romanization. 10 - The Germanic-Visigothic Monarchy. 11 - The Muslim Period and the Christian Reconquest.

50% Exame de Recurso
100% Em sede de avaliação contínua, os estudantes que compareçam a pelo menos 70% das aulas ministradas e que tenham realizado os dois momentos de avaliação, independentemente da classificação que obtiverem, estão admitidos à prova global a decorrer durante o mês de Janeiro, antes da época de Recurso.
Os estudamtes que não compareçam a pelo menos 70% das aulas ministradas reprovam, nos termos do artigo 3.º, al. a) do Regulamento de Avaliação da FDCP e, por isso, não são admitidos na prova global.
Todos os testes escritos são elementos de avaliação obrigatórios, sendo que a não comparência a um dos elementos de avaliação determina a reprovação do estudante, nos termos do artigo 3.º, al. b) do Regulamento de Avaliação da FDCP.
