Syllabus
Introduction to Statistics: role in decision-making, basic concepts, and software (Jamovi). Descriptive Statistics: measures of central tendency, dispersion, and shape; graphical visualization. Probability and Distributions: probability, Bayes’ theorem, discrete (Binomial, Poisson) and continuous (Normal, t, Chi-square, F) distributions. Sampling and Sampling Distributions: sampling methods, Central Limit Theorem, simulations. Statistical Inference: point estimation and confidence intervals for means and proportions.

Objectives
Students should understand fundamental statistical concepts, apply basic descriptive and inferential techniques, and use statistical software (Jamovi) to organize, visualize, and interpret data.
