This study cycle accepts candidates who submit their application via the institutional entry admission and have obtained a positive score on one of the following national exams:- 03 Desenho

or- 18 Português
Candidates may also apply via the regimes of institution/programme transfer or via Special Application, in accordance with the legal regulations in force (holders of higher education degree, holders of a Technological Specialization Course, holders of Professional Higher Technician Course or Over 23 years of Age). Candidates who meet the requirements defined in the International Student Statute can also apply.

Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
The licentiate degree in Photography aims to train professionals in the fields of photographic production techniques and in its artistic aspects, both at a conceptual level, to a more experimental level, as well as the acquisition of generic skills of elementary and based on the areas of film production and television and multimedia communication. This course of study also aims to enable the improvement of business development and production of photographic projects, and to acquire skills that enable all graduates to continue their education in the second cycle in similar or related scientific areas.

Result of the goals of this course of study the transmission of skills that allow the graduate to exercise enabled the following activities: Development of photographic projects on any medium and format, analog or digital, from the areas of production to post-production components and image processing; Exercise professional for assistance in projects and photographic production of institutional nature, art and advertising particularly with regard to the capture, processing and production of digital image; Photojournalism and documentary photography, advertising photography, fashion photography, film directing, lighting and imaging assistance; Production and creation of photo projects for industrial and architectural photography Manufacture and create photo projects for artistic contexts; processing and image processing in digital photographic projects (capture and printing), animation and multimedia production and post-processing of the photographic image in television projects, film and animation; Operations camera film technology, film and video, control and image processing for the printing industry; conceção Advice and multimedia projects that involve intensive photographic, photographic production for multimedia platforms (web, offline, mobile); photographic component integration environments 2d and 3d; Design
