Teaching methodologies
Classes will consist of theoretical, theoretical-practical (TP), and practical sessions. These three distinct formats allow for the integration of varied teaching strategies, moments of reflection, and the analysis of student delivery and performance. Students must form groups of 3 to 4 members that will remain together throughout the academic year. Continuous assessment is conducted through a theoretical assessment test, two group simulated practice assignments (field-based), two individual oral presentations (classroom-based), and a final portfolio containing all in-class work, to be submitted at the end of the second semester. The final grade is calculated using the following formula: 30% * Theoretical Assessment Test + 15% * 2 Oral Presentations + 15% * 2 Simulated Practice Sessions + 20% Course Unit Portfolio A supplementary assessment exam will be administered whenever the average of the partial grades is equal to or greater than 9.5 (out of 20).
