Roller Hockey is currently one of the roller skating disciplines. The knowledge, skills and aptitudes worked in this UC provide the tools for professional intervention with sports clubs, associations, federations. The contents covered in this course will allow students to intervene not only in the training context for children and adolescents, but also with adults (senior teams).

Objectives
Objectives
General aims:
1. Content integration for the development of a knowledge-based professional practice;
2. Specialization in the teaching and training of RH;
3. Real-time application of the procedures and tasks inherent in the performance of the RH;
4. It is intended that the student acquires the competence to organize, plan, execute and evaluate training programs appropriate to reality, applying critically and in an integrated manner knowledge of their specificity and multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary knowledge.
Specific Aims:
- Knowledge of the laws, rules and other indispensable elements to the organized practice of the RH game;
- Conceptualize the functional structure of RH;
- Know and master the individual and collective technical and tactical processes during the defensive, transitional and offensive moments;
- Know the functionality of game systems;
- Develop a Game Model;
- Ability to operationalize the knowledge of the sport.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
In this CU theoretical classes (expository), theoretical-practical (where will apply experiential learning, with problems and group work) and use the e-learning system, which will provide support materials for each of the classes (slides and handouts), as well as a discussion forum, will be the main methods. In addition to the theoretical and practical classes, students are expected to observe training micro-cycles in elite teams. In continuous assessment, students will have to complete a written test. Observe (2) training micro-cycles in elite teams. Prepare and present orally a season plan (macrocycle), and a game model.
