Class Filosofia do Desporto

  • Presentation

Philosophy is dedicated to problems transversal to all human activities. It is characterized by the search for reasoned and clear answers to its questions, in systematic areas interconnected, which are based on concepts and ways of arguing developed throughout history. Philosophy contemplates a great diversity of schools and methods, which allows it to ask new questions and transform them into more in-depth and innovative ways of searching. For this reason, most sciences were born from Philosophy, which maintains an indispensable intervention in today's societies. In this context, the philosophical foundation is necessary in sports practice, because human motricity is not only the individual's psychophysiology, but a concentrated expression of an itinerary where Man as a whole is.
