Class Human Sexuality

This curricular unit aims to provide students with a deep and comprehensive understanding of human sexuality and sexual health, integrating a multidisciplinary approach that covers biological, psychological, social and cultural aspects. Students will be trained to apply this knowledge in different contexts, promoting sexual health and respect for sexual rights

Different methodologies will be used, including small group activities, large group discussions, case study presentations, debate exercises, diagnostic knowledge assessment, preparation of materials, etc. The assessment is continuous in person (presence in 75% of laboratory classes) and will consist of a written test (40%) and group work, including a psychoeducational video and oral discussion (60%). All elements of the group will have the same result in this work. Group work must include the integration of review with the preparation of a topic, research, and the preparation of informative materials, as well as oral discussion and reflection. The classification of each component of the continuous assessment must reflect the acquisition of minimum knowledge. Students who do not pass the continuous assessment (10 points) will have access to the Final Written Exam (100% weighting).
