Presentation
Essentially designed as a Workshop, this course aims to introduce the theme of Building Information Modeling in architectural design. Less focused in form searching, it is concerned with highlighting the integration of construction systems throughout the creative process of the project, using the knowledge and skills learned in previous semesters in the Digital Processes and Construction Systems as a starting point. Digital tools both, vectorial and parametric, will be used to explore and design architectural and constructiv solutiosn up to the detailing level.

Objectives
Objectives
Generally associated with the final line of the architectural project, building information modeling redefines the way ideas are generated by leveraging the interconnection of formal creativity with design and technological innovation through the integration of project production tools with parametric capabilities and smart digital objects. Acquisition of skills in the field of design tools related to digital production platforms in a parametric environment, focusing on construction processes and systems Using an urban context, it is intended with this course to use parametric (or advanced CAD) tools and platforms to: 1. Create architectural conceptual forms; 2. Explore project alternatives based on specific constructive systems; 3. Respond to project concerns related to the environment and the sustainability, aesthetics and constructability of the proposals. 4. Communicate results

Assessment
Assessment
- uma exposição oral;
- um texto explicativo e fundamentador do trabalho projetual desenvolvido, com cerca de 10 páginas;
