Deepening and particularizing the matter inherent in the discipline of Construction, in a privileged interdependence with the specific topic of the Project for Rehabilitation of Buildings in development that will serve as basis for the final work of Dissertation.

    1. Background of the framing area of buildings. 2. Pathologies associated with the construction and life of buildings. 3. Case studies of rehabilitation, identifying criteria within the conceptual principles. 4. Restoration, conversion, reconstruction, expansion - concepts and reference models built. 5. Interaction with the current legislation. 6. Identification of components of buildings construction: foundations, walls, floors and roof. 7. Identification of the remaining components constructive: openings, stairs, and other ornamental elements. 8. Structure and Interpretation of models in fashion 9. Integration of infrastructural systems 10. Conditioning of thermal and acoustic 11. Maintenance and / or reinvention of materials and construction systems members 12. Misconceptions currents associated with the supposed "sustainability" of buildings 13. Project and  work: the organization of the process to work 14. Preparation of technical specifications.
  • Objectives

    Objectives

    With regard to the incidence of learning in projectual practice one will seek bringing to evidence two complementary aspects whose apparent contradiction only the disciplined exercise of the Project will be able to clarify: a) Setting reasonable limits in preparing the Project. b) Construction as a tool for interpreting the identity of buildings and as a stimulus to the formal conception. The student will develop the ability to integrate operatively in practical work knowledge and information gathered in the discipline of Construction, assuming the development of the Project as a comprehensive process.

    In the teaching-learning process, a methodology of close contact with the students was foreseen, seeking to stimulate and arouse the curiosity of the subjects addressed, using concrete examples/cases through digital and other supports.
