This option is available for master’s and doctoral programmes worth 90 ECTS credits or more.
Tuition fees are calculated according to the number of ECTS credits in which you enrol.

What will I learn in this course?
The master's degree in Applied Biochemistry aims to train professionals with advanced disciplinary skills in the field of biochemistry. With a practical and multidisciplinary approach, it is geared towards innovation, research and development in industries and laboratories. Students will have the opportunity to explore various areas, such as molecular diagnostics in health, the production and manipulation of proteins for industrial and diagnostic purposes, biosensors, biochemistry aimed at sustainability and the environment, as well as receiving training in chemistry applied to the validation of analytical methods and organic/inorganic chemistry with an emphasis on health.

The following are eligible to apply a) Holders of a Bachelor's degree or legal equivalent awarded by a national higher education institution in the areas of Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedicine or related areas; b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, or legal equivalent, awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a State adhering to this Process, in the areas of Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedicine and related areas; c) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, which is recognized by the Scientific Council as meeting the objectives of the Bachelor's degree in the areas of Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedicine or in related areas; d) Holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum recognized by the Scientific Council as attesting to their ability to complete this cycle of studies.
