Objectives
Objectives
To understand the importance of nutritional status assessment and nutritional diagnosis to clinical practice in Nutrition Sciences area. It is also intended that students are able to: - Select and apply nutritional risk assessment instruments. - Select and apply methodologies of nutritional state assessment. - Select and apply methodologies to assess food intake and nutritional intake. - Identify the nutritional risk and characterize the individual's nutritional status.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical-practical classes, aimed at consolidation of knowledge through active participation of students in the teaching-learning process: research, critical appraisal, treatment and transmission of scientific information on topics relevant to the course unit, with impact on clinical nutrition. The UC assessment will consist of three seminars/clinical cases, one with a weighting of 40% and the other two with a weighting of 30% each.
