For lawyers, the Economic Analysis of Law provides an additional tool for analysing problems that have always interested them. This book, now in its second edition, offers an introduction to the subject in Portuguese. The principles of economic analysis are used here to study areas of law as diverse as property, non-contractual civil liability, contracts, competition and crime. Written for educational purposes, the book uses language that is accessible to readers from a wide range of backgrounds and does not require any special prior knowledge of either economics or law.
