The course unit Learning and Development falls within the field of Human Development and Learning Psychology, providing future Computer Science/Informatics teachers with the theoretical and theoretical-practical foundations on the cognitive, socio-emotional and motivational processes underlying students' learning and development. As part of the Master's degree programme, its relevance lies in linking this scientific knowledge to teaching practice, equipping future teachers to respond critically and appropriately to their students' learning needs.

Objectives
Objectives
LO1. Critically analyse the foundations of the theories of human development and learning. TM: Dialogic exposition, critical analyses and group discussions. LO2. To know the nature of primary, cognitive, socioemotional, and motivational mechanisms and processes that interfere in development and learning processes. TM: Dialogic exposition, critical analyses and group discussions. LO3. To develop skills for the promotion of learning and development of students in their teaching practice based on learning paradigms. TM: Document analysis, case studies, discussion and debate. LO4: To develop the ability to present with clarity and scientific rigour, orally and in writing, the result of their work.TM: Practical activities, reflective work and debates.
