Presentation
The Internship is an annual, curricular and professionally oriented unit undertaken in a host organisation operating under a valid agreement with the University. It promotes progressive integration into the professional setting, structured observation, characterisation of populations and services, assessment, planning, prescription, implementation and monitoring of exercise under supervision. It also includes professional communication, teamwork, safety, ethics, confidentiality, critical reflection and a contribution to the host organisation. Students connect practice with scientific evidence in an internship report prepared in accordance with institutional standards and presented and defended in an oral examination.

Teaching methodologies
Work-based learning is grounded in progressive participation in authentic activities, adapted to the institution's conditions and the student's level of competence. It includes tripartite supervision between the student, institutional supervisor and university tutor, structured observation and professional modelling, deliberate practice with feedback, case- and problem-based learning, and reflective records of practice evidence. It also includes tutorial support focused on objectives, progress review, scientific writing in stages, and preparation for the presentation and mock defence, promoting gradual, evidence-based development aligned with placement requirements.
