  • Objectives

    Objectives

Develop critical thinking through the knowledge and understanding of the main methodologies and research techniques applicable in the field of fashion design Develop the ability and capacity to problematize and select the approach, methodology and analysis techniques best suited to the research problem, namely a concrete situation, even if complex, of design Be able to conceive and plan applied research in fashion design and point out advantages and disadvantages of potential alternative approaches Be able to elaborate and write scientific texts of the results of applied research

  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

Various important aspects of research will be focussed on through visual and exemplarypresentations.

The work proposed for assessment will be carried out in the classroom and monitored by the teacher, but should include some time for autonomous work.
The type of work is essentially practical, involving research, planning, organisation and execution.
Student-centred teaching and learning by doing are encouraged, with the teacher facilitating learning.
