With this UC it is intended that students know and identify the complexity inherent to the different moments of the football game and its relationship with the analysis of players and teams. In addition, it is intended that students know the roles and responsibilities of an analyst, acquire skills regarding observation, analysis and interpretation of sports performance, and are able to transform the information obtained through the different observation and analysis systems into knowledge to transfer to the training process.

Syllabus
1. Observation and analysis: conceptualization. 2. Contextualization of the process of observation, analysis, and interpretation, to the internal logic of the football game. 3. Roles and responsibilities of an analyst. 4. Indicators underlying the observation and analysis of the team, the opposing team, and the player. 5. Report models to be implemented in the observation, analysis, and interpretation process. 6. Observation, analysis, and interpretation of the game and the Soccer player: Methods and tools. 7. System of information and treatment of quantitative and qualitative data of the game and of the Soccer player and its evolutionary tendency. 8. Translation of information from observation, analysis, and interpretation of performance to the training process. 9. Means of transmitting information to Soccer agents.

Objectives
1- Know and identify the complexity inherent to the different moments of the football game and its relationship with the analysis of players and teams. 2 - Know the responsibilities and functions of an analyst. 3- Acquire skills regarding observation, analysis and interpretation of performance. 4- Suggest a set of indicators for the observation and analysis of players and teams. 5- Propose different models of analysis reports for players and teams. 6- Describe and apply the different methods of observation and analysis according to the specific context of action. 7 - Identify and distinguish different systems of observation, analysis and processing of informational data about the player and the football game. 8- Transform the information obtained through the different observation and analysis systems into knowledge to be transferred to the training process. 9 - Know the different ways of transmitting information, obtained through observation and analysis, to sports agents.
