Class Internship Report

The Curricular Internship course unit aims to provide students with a real context for the application and development, in an autonomous and integrative manner, of the knowledge, skills, and methodologies acquired throughout the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, and the acquisition of professional and research skills in a coordinated and applied manner.

The syllabus includes all the knowledge and skills acquired during the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management that are relevant to the internship topic. It aims to respond, together with the specific guidelines and additional syllabus content that the Supervising Professor will provide to the student during the course unit.

The teaching-learning process used in this course is based on the tutorial methodology, through personalized teaching focused on direct interaction between teacher and student, with weekly and continuous monitoring, in a flexible manner, meeting the individual needs of the student and promoting their autonomy and personal, technical, and scientific development. Each weekly session includes content review, new topics, discussion, solutions, and immediate feedback. The supervising professor acts as a facilitator, mentor, and evaluator, adjusting the work plan as necessary.
