Objectives
As the name shows, it is a curricular unit that takes place on a seminar basis, throughout the second year, so that the student develops his research to support the elaboration of the final dissertation, benefiting from the discussion and sharing of knowledge in the classroom, under the guidance of the teacher, who encourages "inter-peer" debate, that is, among the students themselves. Thus, the program of the seminar will, in large part, derive from students' choices of dissertation topics.

Teaching methodologies
The methodology will be based on the choice of topics for debate, a choice that will focus on the students' choices and that aims to meet the research area of each of them. The topics may also be proposed by the lecturers based on their topicality and/or relevance or on the interest that these topics may present to the students, taking into account the thematic nuclei on which they intend to carry out research.

A avaliação tomará em consideração a apresentação oral realizada em sala de aula, respetiva participação individual e em grupo e a apresentação de um trabalho final por escrito que se pode apresentar sob a forma de uma proposta de artigo científico, comentário de jurisprudência e/ou recensão analítico-critica.
