1. Importance and relevance of teaching public regulation . Public regulation of the economy 2. Theory and policy of public regulation of the economy: economic and financial crisis and the decline of the welfare state. The transformation of public administrations 3. Emergence and significance of the welfare state 4. Regulation and deregulation. Regulatory deficit. 5. Regulation as an administrative task to protect public interests. The right of individuals to public regulation. 6. Means of administrative law of guarantee. Public regulation. The regulatory contract. The right of adjudication. Public-private partnerships. 7. Regulation and services of general economic interest. 8. Simplification of prior administrative control of private activities.

Objectives
Objectives
Intended that the student acquires knowledge about the specifics of Public Regulation, its origin and its importance in a State Guarantee. The student should also be able to discuss about regulation versus deregulation and understand their connection to the administrative law warranty. Still must realize the significance and importance of the regulatory contract and the right of adjudication and public-private partnerships. Still has a view that realize the importance of simplifying the preliminary administrative control of private activities. As for skills, it is intended to enable students to understand the concepts that are departing the syllabus allowing that reach a critical and scientific horizon of all this.

O trabalho final de natureza cientifica é individual e tem uma componente de avaliação reservada para a sua apresentação oral. Ao longo das aulas podem ser realizadas em grupo as atividades de estudo de casdo e jurisprudência as quais são avalaidas na componente reservada para a participação oral. Ver quadro a seguir:
