  • Objectives

    Objectives

In continuation of UC Interdisciplinary Seminars I, the following objectives are presented: UC of reflection and criticism around areas close to the image. The objective is to foster engagement with the cultural scene and offerings in the fields of Photography and Visual Arts, such as the BFVFX, when applicable. Alongside study visits, attending the department's "Great Artists on Campus" program, and visiting studios or artist residency spaces (such as Osso, Rama, etc.), authors will be invited to reflect on the relationship between text, image, and sound, as well as to discuss perceptual phenomena across the senses. The most recent developments in critical discourse will be addressed, contextualizing the cultural transformations (anthropological, sociological, economic, and technical, among others) that, in turn, impact aesthetic revolutions.
