Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired
Students should acquire knowledge and develop competences associated to: - Assessment and intervention in business context - Assessment and intervention at the group, intergroup, and social psychological levels - Research of behavioral, group, intergroup, intercultural or organizational phenomena - Work in contexts of economic, social, and cultural diversity This knowledge and competences contribute to research, assessment, and intervention in organizations, intergroup contexts, sustainability, and behavioral promotion and change. In particular, the Program develops the capability to take on responsibilities in intervention and research in the fields of social psychological diversity, organizational development, relation with the community and sustainability, or still in the definition of communication and publicity strategies.

Objectives
Objectives
The general aim of this program is to prepare students to work in the field of social and organizational psychology, contributing to organizations¿ ability to respond to the current contexts of globalization and social and environmental problems. This context, in which groups and organizations are nested and act, has strong implications for the diversity and complexity of behaviors, social contexts and relationships between individuals, groups and organizations. The Master¿s Program aims to provide a specialized training for the study of behavioral phenomena in organizational and broader social context, as well as for the application of work psychology to companies and other institutions, such as public entities or NGO¿s. The program also prepares for professional activity in multicultural environments that characterize a large part of current social and organizational contexts.

Infrastructure and Equipment
The ULHT/School of Psychology has allocated for use by the different courses, a set of physical facilities, including 40 classrooms, three lecture theaters, six computer labs, an experimental psychology lab, a psychology research center room (CEPCA), a library (with psychological assessment materials) with workrooms, a technological work center, 3 bars / canteen, offices and work room for teachers and masters. All classrooms are equipped with projector. There are also laptops, projector and video/audio equipment available on request. The workrooms/offices have PC's. Besides the current use software, the ULHT has statistical software (SPSS/AMOS). The Experimental Psychology Lab has virtual reality, eyetracking and psychophysiological measures equipment.
