The Postgraduate Diploma (Advanced Specialisation) in IR-NDE/International Relations - Business and Economic Diplomacy is an innovative course on the international scene, given the globalisation of international trade, communication, the financial market and transport. Anyone in one of the following situations may apply to attend the course: - Hold an academic degree (bachelor's and/or master's) or legal equivalent; - Have professional experience and a curriculum vitae that attest to their ability to attend a postgraduate course, recognised by the Course's Scientific Committee; - Perform high-level functions in organisations (national, public, private and international) or companies directly or indirectly linked to the scientific areas in question, as confirmed by the Scientific Committee.

The Postgraduate Diploma (Advanced Specialisation) obtained proves skills and competences for different professional functions: - Leaders and senior and managerial staff of state services (central, regional, local authority and business administration bodies), political parties, foundations, non-governmental organisations, companies, banks, insurance companies and other organisations, as well as trade unions, associations, cooperatives, the media, diplomacy, the armed forces, international organisations, development and cooperation agents, etc. - Specialists in advisory and consultancy services, particularly for international organisations and companies, especially in investment strategies, internationalisation, international development and cooperation, economic diplomacy; - Business, government, local authority and non-governmental organisation consultancy. - Managers, senior technicians and employees in national companies and multinational economic groups. - Competitions and progression in the diplomatic career. - Study, training and research offices.

The Postgraduate Diploma (Advanced Specialisation) in IR-NDE/International Relations - Business and Business Economic Diplomacy enables students to continue their training in these or similar scientific areas, namely to continue their 2nd Cycle studies leading to a Master's degree.

Timetable: Post-Labour Students of this PG will have privileged access to the activities of CEERI-Centre for European Studies and International Relations, OLAE-Observatório Lusófono de Atividades Económicas and CPLP-Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, given that the Lusófona Group is a Consultative Observer of the CPLP. This PG supports the implementation of the UBSIF-CPLP/Union of Insurance Banks and Financial Institutions of the CPLP.
