Objectives
Objectives
Students completing Green and Business Sustainability will develop knowledge of Lean & Green principles, environmental¿management systems such as ISO¿14001, business¿sustainability frameworks, corporate social accountability and Lean Safety. They will acquire skills in analysing environmental impacts, designing improvement initiatives that reduce waste and emissions, evaluating sustainability performance and integrating social¿responsibility criteria into managerial decisions. As competences, students will be able to interpret sustainability challenges, propose responsible and compliant solutions, align operational practices with environmental and social expectations and contribute to the development of safer, greener and ethically grounded organizational systems.

Teaching methodologies
The online delivery of Green and Business Sustainability is supported by innovative, digitally enabled methodologies that immerse students in real sustainability analysis and decision¿making. Synchronous sessions use interactive case discussions, collaborative environmental¿impact mapping and Lean & Green problem¿solving exercises to simulate organisational challenges. Asynchronous modules integrate short video explainers, ISO¿14001 compliance tasks, sustainability¿diagnostic tools and reflective activities that strengthen autonomous learning. Virtual group projects centred on social¿accountability scenarios and Lean Safety assessments further promote applied, ethical and collaborative practice. Together, these methodologies create an engaging, practice¿oriented online environment fully aligned with the course's sustainability objectives.
