Selection of means of transport Acquire the necessary skills to choose the most effective and/or efficient means of Transport and Physical Distribution Network.
Monitoring of transport activity Implement a set of indicators aimed at systematically monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the chosen Transport and Physical Distribution Network.

Objectives
O1: Recognize the importance of Transport and Physical Distribution in Logistics, namely in the fulfillment of the level of Customer Service; O2: Identify the various types of Transport and Physical Distribution Networks; O3: Define the relevant factors for choosing the type of Transport and Distribution; O4: Identify the potential risks associated with each type of Transport and Distribution Network; O5: Define indicators for the systematic evaluation of Transport and Physical Distribution.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical and practical classes. In theoretical classes, concepts, types and critical factors in the choice of Transport and Physical Distribution Network are presented, as well as essential theories for crisis management, complemented with practice expressed in examples of national and international relevance, in various sectors of activity. In practical classes, students are presented with case studies in context for the identification and development of skills associated with the selection and evaluation of Transport and Physical Distribution. The evaluation of students is carried out in accordance with the university's evaluation regulation and, with the following evaluation moments: Continuous Assessment - Attendance and participation in classes (30%); Presentation of individual works proposed during the sessions (30%); Final Group Work with PPT presentation (40%).
