Main reasons for choosing this course on ULusófona
- The program consists of 6 core courses, including English as a mandatory technical language, plus one of the following 3 technical languages: French, Spanish, Italian, or German.
- Six short-term practical workshops will be offered, focusing on topics of particular importance to tourism information professionals.
- In addition, there will be four themed field trips led by experts, specifically: Decorative Arts and Christian Iconography; Botany at Pena Park and Monserrate Park; the Heritage of the Christian, Jewish, and Islamic Religions; a Geological Tour of Lisbon; and Discovering the Wines of Portugal.
- This reinforces the acquisition of specific on-site knowledge and fosters an even more practical and operational methodology.
- The course units include a total of 22 guided visits, including on-site assessments. The two guided tours, each lasting 8 days¿one north of the Tagus and one south of the Tagus¿are held alternately, one each year; they are optional and not included in the graduate program.
