Award-winning Sustainability Project Coordinated by ULusófona
Project resulting from the protocol with Infrastructures of Portugal awarded in the Circularity category.
27.01.23 - 11h22Infrastructures of Portugal (IP) wins the 2022 Sustainability in the Built Environment Award, in the Circularity category, with a project developed under the protocol with Lusófona University and coordinated by Professor Luis Quaresma.
The project aims at incorporating recycled rubber waste from used tires in bituminous mixtures applied to road paving.
The Vice-President of IP, Maria Amália Almeida, was present at the ceremony that took place at the Auditorium of IMPIC, on January 26th, in Lisbon, and thanked the prestigious Prize considering it as “recognition of the work of the teams that participated in this project and an incentive to the development of innovation projects”.
