On 9 October, Lusófona University - Porto University Centre hosted a masterclass on Ethics in Sales, delivered by engineer Fábio Silva, Mill Sales Manager Tissue at technology company Valmet.
The session aimed to bridge academic theory and the realities of the labour market by exploring the practical application of ethical principles in sales strategies and business negotiations. It also gave students an insight into professional experience in the industrial and commercial sectors, enriching their education with real-world challenges from the corporate environment.
The masterclass sought primarily to encourage future professionals to reflect on the importance of integrity and responsibility in decision-making.
This initiative reinforces Lusófona University's commitment to educating professionals who are not only equipped with strong technical skills, but are also guided by human values and a sense of social responsibility in their work.
