Digital Wallet and Verifiable Credentials

The Digital Wallet is part of a national pilot project developed by the Universidade Lusófona, in partnership with INCM - Imprensa Nacional Casa da Moeda. This project aims to test the use of verifiable digital credentials in Higher Education in Portugal. The objective is to issue verifiable digital credentials for students, faculty, and staff at Universidade Lusófona, in the form of an Education ID in the INCM Digital Wallet. This credential can be used to access services and exclusive discounts at the Universidade Lusófona Campus.

How to Participate

Participation in the pilot is voluntary and open to all members of the academic community at Universidade Lusófona, including students, faculty, and staff. The pilot will be implemented only at the Centro Universitário Lisboa, at the Campo Grande Campus.

Download the INCM Digital Wallet

Step 2

Request the issuance of the VERIFIABLE EDUCATION ID credential through the following link: https://token.ulusofona.pt

Note: To use the Digital Wallet, your mobile phone must be compatible with biometric measures, such as Face ID or Touch ID.

Once you have completed the wallet installation (Step 1) and requested the credential (Step 2), you can enjoy the discounts and services offered in the pilot.

About the Pilot

The pilot will involve students, faculty, and staff from Universidade Lusófona and will run for 6 months, starting on 31 May 2024, divided into two phases:

Phase 1

From 31 May to 12 July 2024
(Cantina Lusófona and Espaço Kuadro)

Phase 2

From 16 September to 31 December 2024
(Cantina Lusófona, Sem Corantes, Xiribitata, Espaço Kuadro, Veterinary Hospital, and Cinema Fernando Lopes)

For Students

• 10% discount on meal menus at Cantina Lusófona, Sem Corantes, and Xiribitata (once per day)*
  • Note: The discount at Xiribitata applies only to specific dishes, such as Bitoques (beef, pork, or chicken), Francesinha, Omelettes (plain, cheese or ham, cheese and ham, and mushrooms), Pasta, Salads.
• Discount at Cinema Fernando Lopes
• Discount at the Veterinary Hospital
• Access to the Pilot Portal for Students

For Faculty and Staff
