Eco-Code 2024
Lusófona University's Faculty of Engineering Launches Project to Promote Sustainability
23.07.24 - 13h41As part of the Eco-Schools Programme, the Faculty of Engineering at Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário de Lisboa has launched Eco-Code 2024, a project that encourages sustainable practices among students and the academic community. This code establishes concrete actions to improve the environment at the university and in the surrounding community, promoting ecological attitudes and reinforcing the environmental responsibility of all participants.
To create the Eco-Code, a competition was held among the students of the Faculty of Engineering. Students were invited to fill in an online form, where they could suggest up to five phrases that they considered essential for the Eco-Code. The selected phrases were included in the final Eco-Code poster and the authors of the winning phrases will be rewarded at the start of the next academic year.
The coordination of the Eco-Schools Programme at the Faculty of Engineering would like to thank all the students, staff, teachers and team members involved in carrying out this project, whose success is the result of a collective effort in favour of sustainability.
