Infrastructure and Equipment
Infrastructure and Equipment
The Universidade Lusófona has the appropriate structures for the development of this programme, with a specialized library whose opening hours cover, fully and without interruption, the course's working hours and with access to a database, particularly in the field of biotechnology. The Universidade Lusófona's laboratories have the equipment, facilities and human and material resources necessary for adequate performance of the proposed Masters. Laboratory classes will be taught in existing laboratories. Laboratory activities are separated in different laboratories with different advantages and characteristics. The facilities include: Laboratories clearly suited to the field of Chemistry, in which work is accomplished within the subjects in this area, without involving any biological material. Laboratories devoted to Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, in which bench-scale work is carried out which involves biological material, emphasizing again the existence of a small pilot-facility for the manufacture of beer.
