The II Sound Week – Listening in Action: Practices, Territories and Sound Technologies took place from 20 to 24 April 2026 at Lusófona University - Lisbon University Centre, across various locations on campus, according to the programme. Organised by ECATI, the event was held in person and brought together students, artists and researchers.

Over five days, the event offered an immersive experience into the many ways of listening to, creating and thinking about sound in contemporary contexts. The programme included concerts, performances, workshops and presentations, promoting listening as an active practice that crossed different territories, technologies and social contexts.

Sound Week highlighted sound as a medium for artistic experimentation and critical reflection, inviting participants to experience it as a tool for creation, connection and transformation, both in performative settings and within the urban environment.
