Obituary Notice – Professor Alexandra Barradas

It is with profound sadness that Lusófona University announces the passing of Professor Alexandra Barradas, following a prolonged illness.

Throughout her academic and professional career, Professor Alexandra Barradas left a lasting mark on colleagues and students through her knowledge, dedication and contribution to the education of those with whom she had the opportunity to work and share her journey.

Her passing represents a deeply felt loss for the entire academic community. The Administration, the Rectorate and the School of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (ECATI) join in the grief of her family and friends, as well as that of all lecturers, students and staff who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lusófona University will remember with gratitude her contribution and the many moments shared throughout her academic and professional career.

Funeral arrangements:

• Wake: Tuesday, 15 September, at the Church of Santa Joana da Princesa, near Avenida dos Estados Unidos da América, beginning at 5.30 pm.
• Wednesday, 16 September: departure from the Church at 10.00 am, followed by burial at Olivais Cemetery.

Lusófona University extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
