Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Cinema Fernando Lopes hosted the 5th edition of “Great Artists on Campus”, an initiative of the Department of Cinema and Media Arts (DCAM) at Lusófona University, which once again brought together the academic community around contemporary creation. The session took place on 10 February, with strong participation from students and lecturers.
The guest was Pedro Cabrita Reis, one of the Portuguese artists with the greatest international recognition. With an established career since the 1980s, he highlighted the relevance of contemporary sculpture and the use of industrial materials and everyday objects as a basis for aesthetic and conceptual reflection.
Part of the annual conference cycle with contemporary artists promoted by DCAM, the initiative strengthens the link between academic training and direct contact with leading creators on the national and international artistic scene.
