The TECWEB 2026 — Code. Connect. Transform. initiative took place between 9 and 13 March 2026 in a hybrid format, involving the campuses of Lusófona University in Lisbon and Porto. Promoted by the School of Communication, Arts and Information (ECATI) and the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technologies (FCNET), the event brought together students, lecturers and professionals around the latest trends in Computer Engineering and digital transformation.
Over five days, the programme prioritised a practical approach, focusing on applied technology, real-world challenges and connections to the labour market. The initiative included immersive courses, talks, panels and demonstrations, promoting direct interaction with companies and specialists in areas such as software engineering, data, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
The event also stood out for its strong integration with the business sector, particularly aimed at third-year students, providing contact with real career paths and strengthening the link between the academic and professional contexts.
