ULusófona Celebrates the 3rd Postgraduate Programme in Registry and Notary

On the 6th of this month, Lusófona University successfully concluded the 3rd Edition of the Postgraduate Programme in Records and Notarial Services. The event was attended by the President of the Notaries' Association, Dr. Jorge Batista da Silva, who delivered the seminar “Digital Transition in Notarial Services: Digital Platforms, Present and Future”, highlighting the impact of new technologies on the modernisation of notarial services and other areas of law.
This postgraduate programme is pioneering in its format, offered in an e-learning mode, which allows specialised education to reach students across the country, including the islands, CPLP countries, and Portuguese consulates worldwide. Its flexibility has been key in the qualification of professionals in various geographical contexts, promoting the democratisation of access to education in the field of records and notarial services.
The session also featured the participation of Professor Maria do Rosário e Anjos, Scientific Director, and Ms. Sónia Santos, Executive Director, who expressed their gratitude to the partners, the Institute of Records and Notarial Services (IRN) and the Notaries' Association, as well as to the excellent teaching staff, whose dedication and expertise were essential to the quality of this postgraduate programme.
A special thank you was directed to the students, whose dedication and talent bring life and prestige to this course. Their academic and professional journey reflects Lusófona University's commitment to training specialists prepared for the challenges of the present and the future.
With three successful editions, the Postgraduate Programme in Records and Notarial Services is now preparing for its 4th edition (October 2025), solidifying its position as a reference in the field.
