Lusófona University welcomed new talents on 3 April with an afternoon dedicated to exploring various academic fields through interactive workshops specially designed for secondary school students.
During the session dedicated to the Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation and Auditing, participants attended a presentation on “The Professions of Accountant and Auditor in Today’s World” and had the opportunity to ask questions directly to lecturers and students from Lusófona University, gaining insight into the demands and specificities of these careers.
In the Bachelor's Degree in Photography workshop, students experimented with pinhole techniques and created photograms, engaging in a hands-on and creative approach to image-making that stepped away from everyday digital technologies.
“An Experience in Television Journalism” was the name of the activity promoted by the Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Journalism, where participants followed the production process of news content, from writing to studio presentation.
The session dedicated to the Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, themed “The Importance of Sociologists in a Changing World”, encouraged students to reflect on the role of these professionals in understanding society and its transformations.
This initiative invited young people to step into the university environment and explore, first-hand, what to expect from different academic paths.
