ULusófona hosts the launch of a book on cooperation
“Alphabet of Cooperation” brings together diverse experiences to address contemporary social and cultural challenges
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Lusófona University - Porto University Centre hosted on 25 March the launch of the book “Alphabet of Cooperation - Concepts, Stories, Images”, a work that brought together different perspectives on cooperation and development.
The presented work results from a collaborative process that brings together contributions from various fields, such as journalism, activism and visual arts. During this session, it was possible to understand how this project articulates different experiences and approaches, encouraging a broader and more critical reading of contemporary global challenges, namely inequalities and international dynamics. The objectives and the development process of the project were also presented, highlighting its interdisciplinary nature.
This initiative was promoted by the Association for Cooperation Among Peoples (ACEP), together with the Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences of the University of Aveiro (DCSPT) and the Centre for African and Development Studies of Instituto Superior Técnico, and is supported by Camões - Institute for Cooperation and Language.
The presentation of this work aimed to promote a moment of collective reflection on the role of cooperation in a world marked by increasingly complex social, political and cultural challenges.
