
ULusófona Joins Research Team in Cape Verde SUNRISE Study
Global study evaluates physical activity, sedentary lifestyle and sleep patterns in children up to 5 years old

Professor Eduardo Teixeira, Director of the Master's in Exercise and Health at Lusófona University - Porto University Centre, is part of the research team for the SUNRISE study, which began on 13 February in Cape Verde. The International Study on Movement Behaviours in the Early Years (SUNRISE) brings together researchers from more than 70 countries worldwide and aims to assess physical activity, sedentary behaviour, and sleep in children under the age of 5.
