On 31 July, Lusófona University – Porto University Centre marked the first year of construction of Building 4 with a ceremony held at the construction site.
The event, which brought together representatives of the University and invited guests, marked an important milestone in the development of this new academic space, which will strengthen and expand the infrastructure of the Porto Campus.
The ceremony included the placing of the Commemorative Record in a dedicated safe embedded in the structure of the access corridor to the new complex. The document will thus remain an integral part of the building itself, serving as a record and lasting reminder of this moment in the history of Lusófona University.
Designed by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, Building 4 represents a new landmark for Lusófona University, further strengthening its presence in the city of Porto.
