The CBIOS - Research Centre for Biosciences and Health Technologies was represented at the ICSB - International Conference on the Science of Botanicals 2026 (20 to 23 April, US), with Patrícia Rijo as a guest speaker.
The programme highlighted the quality, safety and regulatory framework of natural products.
Professor Patrícia Rijo became a member of the BSC - Botanical Safety Consortium, an international consortium bringing together the FDA, NIEHS and HESI Global, strengthening CBIOS's position in safety assessment and international scientific collaboration.
