Objectives
Objectives
The pharmaceutical profession is determinedly focused on the patient and on medication, and it is expected that this represents the main direction of professional expertise in the years to come. Indeed, the final report of the WHO Consultative Group on the Role of the Pharmacist: Preparing the Future Pharmacist - Curriculum Development (Vancouver, 1997) clearly points to the educational and professional valences of the future - the purported pharmacist of the "seven stars", in which each star corresponds to the performance of specific skills, which are widely developed in the competencies of this cycle.
