Environment Day is a commemorative date that takes place on June 5. It was established by the United Nations in 1972 during the Conference on the Human Environment held in Stockholm, Sweden.
The objective of the day is to raise awareness and promote actions in favor of protecting and preserving the environment. It is a day to remember the importance of conserving natural resources, reducing pollution, combating climate change and promoting sustainable development.
Remember: we all have a role to play in protecting the environment, small individual actions can make a difference.
