Objectives
Objectives
The aim is to provide tools for thinking about the best way to produce, develop and distribute information, adapting the final informative treatment to the platforms and medium it is intended for, through more interactive and immersive narrative proposals. Next, the aim is to contribute to the analysis of differentiated narrative products, where journalism tools are the basis of the work. Finally, the aim is to contribute to critical reflection on how the planning, approach and structure of narratives that bring together various media elements can contribute to conveying the message, telling stories with a purpose, while observing the fundamentals of journalism.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Innovative methodologies to support the teaching–learning process involve strengthening the connection between the university and the community through partnerships with civil society organizations. The proposal focuses on developing journalistic practice in Campanhã, a territory historically marked by vulnerabilities, to collect life stories that emphasize the memory of the city of Porto. This methodology is innovative in the university context because it promotes experiential learning rooted in real-world problems and fosters the creation of transmedia and hybrid narratives (web documentary and multimedia reporting) with social and cultural impact, published on the #infomedia platform.
