The CU Modality Option II- Football is part of the 1st cycle in Physical Education and Sport, scientific area Physical Education and Sport. Its aim is to provide basic and up-to-date knowledge regarding Soccer main domains as an academic course. it is intended that students; a) Acquire, perfect and master the reflexive, observational and decisive abilities in the face of the problems involved in the preparation of sports and in the training and competition of teams and Football players; b) Identify and apply different lines of action in the training process in youth and high-level performance Football teams; c) Know, experience and dominate the structural and functional organization of the Football game, which is highly complex; d) Acquire and develop multi-dimensional knowledge from formal sessions with sports agents from different areas of intervention in Football.

I. OBSERVATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF THE FOOTBALL GAME AND TRAINING 1.1. Models, methods and means of observation and analysis of the game and Football player. 1.2. Interpretation of the multi-dimensional performance indicators and metrics of the game and Football player. II. PREPARATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF FOOTBALL PRACTITIONERS, ACCORDING TO THE SEVERAL PERFORMANCE DIMENSIONS 2.1. Preparation, operationalization and evaluation of the players behaviors in training and competition.

Objectives
This curricular unit aims to: 1. List and characterize different models of preparation, observation and intervention within the training and competition process in youth and high-performance Football training; 2. To relate the development stages of the Football player in the methodological framework; 3. The formative stages of training provide for formal sessions with sports agents from different areas of intervention.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Different teaching methodologies will be used: Demonstration, experimentation and practical exercise; Pedagogical practices in a simulated situation of planning, organization and intervention in the context of teaching/learning; Resolution of practical cases; Watching and discussing videos; Small-group activities; Feedback information provided by the teacher about the work carried out.
