This course is part of the 1st cycle and falls within the scientific field of Physical Education and Sports. Its objective is the supervided involvement of the student in the professional activity, carried out in various sports contexts. Through the completion of an internship, the student has the opportunity to integrate a working team in a real practice setting and gradually initiate their future professional activity. This gradual interaction in a real practice context ensures the consolidation of the knowledge and skills acquired during the previous two years of the degree and enhances the acquisition and development of new skills essential for specific and comprehensive preparation. Completing this course in the final year of the study plan provides students with an intense preparation experience for professional activities in various sports contexts and ensures close collaboration with different hosting institutions.

The Programmatic Contents (PC) are: 1. Characterization of the Host Institution: specific reality, infrastructure and equipment, main objectives, and target population; 2. Determination of the components that influence sports performance adapted to different sports contexts; 3. Training design and planning; 4. Implementation and monitoring of training; 5. Guidance of athletes in competition (if applicable); 6. Evaluation and critical reflection on the different tasks that comprise the internship.

Objectives
Objectives
The main learning objectives (LO) are: LO1) Ensure integration into a Host Institution, enabling the student to recognize its characteristics, namely respect for its hierarchical structure, the decision-making chain, and horizontal interpersonal relationships; LO2) Complement the students' academic training through contact with the reality of the job market; LO3) Provide the consolidation and deepening of theoretical and practical training by integrating the student into a supervised work activity, where they apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their academic training in a real-world context; LO4) Enable the student to acquire autonomy, develop habits of critical reflection, and foster the need for continuous updates in the fields of scientific and pedagogical knowledge.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Different teaching methodologies (ME) will be used: Experimentation and practical exercises (ME1); Pedagogical practices in real situations of planning, organization, and intervention in the teaching/learning context (ME2); Resolution of practical cases (ME3); Analysis and discussion of hypothetical situations (ME4); Small group activities (ME5); Feedback provided by the teacher on the work done (ME6).
